I’m both humbled and excited to announce that today Todoist crossed the 5 million mark in total users!
When I first began building Todoist, I never imaged that my side project could grow into the incredibly diverse and inspiring community it is today. When I sat down to write this post to our 5 million users, my first thought was of just one, Molly Larson. She left this thoughtful message on the Todoist Facebook page back in April:
This is probably the best feedback I’ve ever gotten from a user. It reminds me of who we’re building our product for. The Todoist user doesn’t fit into any one mold. You’re world-class designers and business consultants and small business owners, students and parents, and church vicars, and retired grandmothers. You have so many awesome goals and aspirations, and we feel incredibly lucky that you’ve chosen us to help you achieve them.
On behalf of all of the team, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Molly Larson and the 5 million+ other Todoist users out there! Thank you for your support and encouragement and especially your feedback. We read and appreciate each and every one of your comments and ideas.
I believe that Todoist is still just at the beginning. Our team is growing every month and we’re working hard to make sure our service is worthy of our awesomely productive users. Our number one goal is to build Todoist into something that empowers you to do your best work.
